Welcome to GCU Esports Club

Don’t Stop Playing

Grand Canyon University’s Esports program is the premier gaming organization on campus. With over 900 student members participating in Fall 2018 across the student-led organization and intramurals, GCU Esports supports a community that fosters competitive spirit while encouraging lighthearted social entertainment. Fielding nearly 100 students as collegiate players across more than 17 teams, GCU Esports participates in over ten major titles including Overwatch, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Fortnite, and many more.

Since Fall 2018, the GCU Esports Arena has served as the central hub for casual and competitive gaming offering 36 high-end gaming PCs alongside a selection of the latest console releases. Located in Building 57, the Esports Arena provides an environment for relaxing after class or teaming up with friends against other peers. After a successful first year of operation and community growth, the facility is reopening in Fall 2019 with an expansion of redesigned lounge, expanded console section, and over 70 gaming PCs.

GCU Esports is excited to welcome in both newcomers and familiar faces to the club and Esports Arena, and we’re always happy to play a round or two of any of your favorite games. Keep up with GCU Esports on social media on Twitter and Discord for any club updates throughout the year!
