The GCU CrossFit Club is the perfect place to become stronger and gain access to great resources while taking part in a unique and supportive community. Our mission is to foster an encouraging environment in which students of all fitness levels and backgrounds can come together to glorify God in a competitive and fun atmosphere.
As part of GCU CrossFit, you will take part in two exclusive team workouts per week on campus, with certified coaches available during off-site gym hours. Additionally, you will have access to the Lopes Performance Center and the club sports athletic trainers. In addition to on-campus resources, the club will also work out at a local CrossFit Gym each week. As part of GCU CrossFit, all team members will have opportunities to use their training and engage in competitions at and away from GCU, and will have the chance to compete in the national Crossfit Open (which begins in January) to track their progress for the season, and possibly compete for regional and national titles.

Grant Senechal is a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. He is the founder of GCU CrossFit and has been president for the past two years. Senechal has a passion for fitness, and has been involved in CrossFit for three years. He is currently a senior studying Mechanical Engineering in GCU’s STEM program. In his free time, Senechal enjoys doing anything outdoors.
