Get Stronger at CrossFit Club

The GCU CrossFit club is the perfect place to become stronger and gain access to great resources while taking part in a unique and supportive community. Our mission is to foster an encouraging environment in which students of all fitness levels and backgrounds can come together to glorify God with their bodies in a competitive and fun atmosphere.

As part of CrossFit club, you will be coached by certified CrossFit trainers and take part in two exclusive team workouts per week on campus, with coaches also available during open gym hours. Additionally, you will have access to the state-of-the-art Lopes Performance Center and the club sports athletic trainer. In addition to on-campus resources, the club will also take one trip to a local CrossFit each week. As part of CrossFit club, all team members will have opportunities to use their training and engage in competitions at and away from GCU.

Grant Senechal is a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. He is the founder of GCU’s CrossFit club and has been president for the past two years. Coach Senechal has a passion for fitness and has been involved in CrossFit for three years. He is currently a junior studying mechanical engineering in GCU’s STEM program. In his free time, Coach Senechal enjoys doing anything outdoors.
