Welcome to GCU Club A Cappella

Grand Canyon University’s Club A Cappella program is one of the most fun and rewarding club sports programs on campus! It is filled with opportunities for music, creativity, friendships, networking and friendly competition.

Many of our members and ensembles proudly represent GCU by singing at various sporting events on campus, including performing the national anthem.  Members also have the opportunity to enhance their college experience through competitions with other schools in seasonal showcase events across the state. These events feature small vocal ensembles singing mash-ups of energetic and harmonic pop tunes, as well as seminars to help members improve their craft.  During the 2018-19 academic year, not only did GCU Club A Cappella host their annual fall and spring showcases at Thunder Alley, they also hosted the Arizona A Cappella Festival for the first time ever, bringing together groups from across the state for a daylong event. In 2019-20, the program auditioned for the ICCA Southwest Quarterfinals for the first time ever.
